Winter is here!
« on: 12 December 2007, 09:06:51 »

Woke up to find a really heavy frost here in Suffolk, and once in the car the MID said -2.5, the coldest I have seen so far this year.

Last year the lowest I had was -7.5 I think - if anyone has any pics with loads of snow or really low temps lets see 'em!

Looks a bit "brass monkey"up there.Down in Kent last night it was -1.0 so your winning so far.Keep warm..switch the heated seats on!!!..mine are leather and they are a bit chilly first thing especially as drivers side heater is knackered.

Cheers for the  :y on the picture - it was only taken on my phone (SE K800i) when I spotted a nice view from the road.

Luckily it doesn't really show how dirty the car is....

Wow - great pics!   I love the way that your wheelarches are actuall full of snow/

How I wish we could have snow like that, although to be honest everything would grind to a standstill as we are so not set up for coping with that....

Where I live in the south its been many years since any decent amount of snow.  I can remember years past having fun in various cars (all RWD) but the Omega is still a 'snow virgin' with me.  From my experience in the wet I expect traction might be an issue... :-)

We've only had snow for one day in the last 4 years.  :'(

Why is it that it seemed to snow every winter when I was a kid? I love the snow and miss it so much. We don't even get proper frost down here. I've only had ice on my windscreen once this year and that was yesterday.  8-)

Its no aftersale, that original on the Catera !

The Tail light's wont fit without the Catera Trunklid.

Try on www.ebay.com and search on Cadillac Catera, you will found a lot of parts  ;)
