am i old?
...hardly

anyway the only one i actually broke was my 2.0 because i decided to swap the 2.0 lump for a 2.5 and i couldnt get that to run because i couldnt find the immobiliser box, the black one i got broken, got it to start then it decided that it didnt like that so something popped and then it dumped its coolant, the 2.6 was broken to begin with but couldnt be arsed to sort it out so bought a running ex plod 3.0 which decided to spit its crank bearings i think... out

so it's not really a case of me breaking things... it's called... vauxhallitus :P

color is OK.. Dark colors very hard to keep clean..

S70 T5 or C70 good choice..Acceleration times are impressive..

but be warned parts are not cheap..

lol i know, they're not too bad if you know somebody at a dealers or have VOC membership to get trade ;)

and yes they are quite quick (takes the s70 t5 upto bout 300bhp after remapping it)

T5's can devour front tyres....  Seen new premium make tyres lasting less than 2.5k miles when driven hard.....

They're FWD's !?! :o
Well, that's the end of that then. Would have considered a Gold or Silver S70 diesel as a replacement for the Mig when the time came.
RWD or switchable 4WD....none of this FWD malarkey if I can avoid it.

you can also check AWD scooby sti's if you want performance and safety on all road conditions..their prices are dropped also here.. :)

when I check their second hand prices 2002,2003 are not that expensive..

right.. you do not have to be old to own a volvo and secondly you CAN get an s60 4wd or even a v70 4wd...
if you want a 4wd then you need to be looking at an S60R (300 bhp and remaps to 350bhp) which is more than a scooby

or you can get the 4wd V70 but check which engines have it on parkers :y

lol how much would it cost to map it to 450bhp though?

mines as fast as a remapped octavia vrs (apparently 255-260bhp) just a bit lacking in mid-range, keeps up with it in mid range mind,
and if my volvo hasnt been remapped already then thats 200bhp and 285nm of torque and it's as fast as a car with 260ish bhp and about 350nm of torque-takes some beating for less than 2000 pounds!

Certainley is a nice car you've got yourself there. And Volvo's are definitely not only for old people as someone put it. I'm 19, I've got a 2.2 CDX but did toy with the idea of an S60. But I swear to god, Volvo S60's are damn fine cars. I have driven one, it goes stops and does everything you could ever want and then some. So if you've never driven a Volvo I can see why some people might think it's a coffin dodgers car, but if you do...go and drive one.

anywaaayy...
lets just put it this way, i'm glad i'v gone to the darkside tbh as it just seems like a better put together car than the omega, although the omega is rear wheel drive, i'd still have one but not for everyday driving after what i had happen with the mv6
