Wood trim to matching Silver trim
« on: 17 July 2010, 18:35:42 »

Wasn't too keen on the wood effect when I bought my car, and always had plans to change it to match the colour of the car.

I know it mayby everyone's taste, but who cares, it's my car, and I think it looks better like this.

Still busy changing other things on the interia to try to update the look.

I know what you mean, and Part of the reason I prefer the MV6's.

How have you done it, the climate panel looks interesting.

All the parts that are silver in the picture were sprayed by a professional sprayer that I know, and he only charged me a tenner for the primer, paint, & doing them - Bargin  ;).
Mind you, he did owe me a favour for some work I did for him which helped  ::)  :y

The climate control isn't that difficult to strip down and take the front plastic panel off.

I've now actually got the old climate pannel & auto trim going spare now !.  So if anyone else is thinking of doing the same, pm me if you're interested in buying them ?.

That seems to have turned out quite well Matt 8-) - Wouldn't mind seeing a few shots with the radio fitted and the ashtray cover up. :y :y

I do like those front seats. :y :y

Not sure what I'm doing yet, colour coded standard panel, or go the single din stereo unit with CD changer, probably the latter, so when all done will post pics of the final set up.  :y

Thanks for the comments all  :y

That looks great! Like the CC panel 8-)
The Elite truck I'm building is gonna get some interior treatment, won't be silver though.

Well finally got around to finishing the centre console, and putting in the single din unit.

Apologises for the delay in posting up pictures, for those interested in seeing what it would look like finished.

Here it is, and I'm pleased with the results  :)

Would be interested what others think now it's all complete  ?  :-?
