Thanks, unfortunately, the exhaust joints blow like a hooker with a blank cheque!

MOT DAY! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
So I got today off so I can got the old girl cleaned up and clear all of the cr*p out....please everybody, cross everything you have for me? MOT is at 12!!!! Oh god I feel sick!!!!

BTW, I've not even driven this car for 3 1/2 years, I have done alto of work so I think it should be ok????

Congrats mate  :y Always a nail biting time ...mine was last week and had done a lot of work too . Great to bring home the pass paper even though its not as flashy as the old mot pass sheet   8)

That will be jealousy  :D Did you notice if they revved the nuts off your car on the emission test as they did on mine but i was told they are not supposed to do that  ::) one bloke told me thet breaked up his car while doing this  ::)

Is this beauty ex TVP by any chance? recognise the reg having worked in the force a few years ago

Alot of the RP cars ended in "MUD"  I seem to remember  ::) , anyway she looks great. Lovely job you have done there  :y  :y

No, they let it run on idle, I thought they had to do it at idle and higher rev's???
Anyway, it passed and he did give some positive comments too :)

I ordered the wrong coil!!!!!
And there is no way I'm putting the old one back after that battle!!!! I am not happy with myself...  :(
Correct part ordered now though.... Hopefully it will be quick to get here!?!?!? :-\
Oval plug, square plug??? Why change it????
Blimey! The old one is split wide open!!!! No wonder it was missing!!!

Thats just like the one i removed on mine a month back , check for leaks in the scuttle as the join piece tends to drip drip onto the coil pack ...used black mastic to seal mine up  ;)

Was yours the cause of a bad miss-fire?
When I took the scuttle off, I noticed it was soaking wet! I did replace it last moth because the old one was cracked..... And soaking wet underneath!!!!  :-\
