Yep, easiest option is a bog standard tilt one. A "nibbler" to cut out the roof and an oscillating disc saw for the re-bar across the roof

what a mission.
All i can think to say is WHY? lol

more specifically, why THIS car. seems like making so much work for yourselves.

and if i'm being honest, cant say that i think black and white leather is gonna look right in a red car....

And it just screams octavia VRS....the black and white leather that is.

But there we go, we do like to keep ourselves busy lol.
You've got your project and i've got mine lol

first actual 04 omega I've seen though....rare as hens teeth

i'm just sat trying to figure why they're doing a 2.2 four pot, surely if they're going to all this trouble it has to be a V6. or is that just me!!!

As Sax is in the Republic of Ireland this may help O;

or;

In short, about 690 Euro between the two engine sizes. (2.2 and 3.2)

860 Euro for the 2.2.

1556 Euro for the 3.2.

well, the reason we are modifying this 04 omeha GLS is because we hope to turn it in an elite version, ie. full aftermarket bod, car resprayed white. full elite spec, sunroof, heated mv6 leather seats, hopefully satnav, rear blind, headlight washers, etc.

we hope to have the car on the road fully modified by next summer.  in the meantime i have bought back my 2.2dti cdx estate, of my brother. it have ticked over 158419 on the clock, in the family it has been since 90000. i had it until 103000, it has done just over 50000 2years. pics up later.

cheers mike (father of trev)(owner of both cars)
