Loving this thread, you and your dad must be bonkers, but can't wait to see the end result, be interesting to know the costs involved and see what you could have bought.
Keep up the good work :y :y :y

Thanks for all the comments.

The rough cost so far is, (prices in €)

Car                    3000
spoiler                   80
grill(staying off)       50
Primer/sandpaper     80
white leather          50
M3 mirrors              55
Labour                   priceless ;D

Parts to come:
Load of elite spec coming hopefully next week ;)   300
Irmscher bodykit from poland(rep)                       450
Total respray                                                  600
Paint for interior                                                78

That is all the money paid out soooooo far.

The car is now in primer since last night, and the dash is out and in the office.

Just taught to show ye all the spoiler.

Door handles dismantled and in primer.

Sorry again for the long post.  ::)

Cheers Trev

the reason for being cheap is that the car is going in in peices and getting sprayed and Im going to assemble the car again. The fella is going to bake the car and parts but the oringal price was €1600 :o

mate of mine did his beemer 3 series coupe in satin black with spray cans lol.

I know it sounds like a shoddy job, but i tell you what, It came out soooo smooth i have no idea how he got it looking so good.

Only cost him for the paint.

yep but its firmly attached to my car  ;D

the reason i asked is that i would have thought you would have painted it at the same time as the car?

I dont mind as I have to get more primer.  You could walk out to your car one morning and fall to the floor crying :'(, saying "wheres it gone" ;)
