Elite (mini facelift) front seats into non - Elite
« on: 16 August 2009, 08:11:44 »

Hi,

I recall seeing some info on Elite front seats here previously - but can't find it - could someone point me in the right direction please.

Have just got some Elite seats and have got the passenger one front working out of the car ok - but am having problems with the drivers seat.

Am, feeding it power through the standard seat connector - but am wondering what the minumum oher connections via the specific 20 pin connector are required just to get the seat to operate without the mirror connections. I suspect an ignition supply and one from the interior light?

Thanks .......... Rob

just connect the power, using the original supply to the old seats

Tried that. Dont work  :-[

Owners manual makes reference to the memory function only working within 30 secs of drivers door being open or ignition on.

Haynes shows connection to an ignition supply and the interior light via the 20 way connector - so I'll try those next - fingers crossed.

Sorted  ;)

I had to use 4 of the 20 way connectors wires and now is all working as it should.
