No ABS light
« on: 30 December 2009, 16:11:44 »

I have replaced one of the big bulbs of the speedo and and when i've fitted it back i've noticed that the ABS light doesn't light with the ignition on, the TC light does it.

I've replaced the ABS bulb but it doesn't light. I don't know if the ABS is working, the TC worked fine a pair of weeks ago...

Any idea? May be i've broken something (electrical) taking the speedo out?

Thanks

IIRC both the TC and ABS are on the same system/circuit so the ABS is most likely OK.  The TC system uses the ABS sensors at the wheels to detect if the wheels are spinning, so if one system was down the other is most likely to be down.

Check the main dash harness plug to see that the pins are all in place, then check the bulb contacts on the PCB on the back of the clocks t see if they are intact

OK, thanks, I'll check it, the ABS and the TC work, I've checked it this evening, but when the ABS turns on, the dash light doesn't blink, the TC does it...

Thanks for the answer
