I thought that wishbones that had the harder polly bushes fitted had a tendency to crack  :-\ :-\

Only if you fit them to the back,

Bilsteins fitted to the Insignia  :)

Better?
.

There's a definite improvement, her big arse doesn't wobble as much now,  that may have been wobbling due to having two different units on the back, 1 original and one a munro,,, just keep my eyes open for a pair of fronts at good price.

Note to self, stop looking on tInternet shopping sites,, just bought a pair of rear  B4 Bilstein for £60. :)

Bilstein have a bit of a sale on at the moment, some good deals to be had

I did post up a clinky for the sale,, but these came from an independent,, cheaper than from Bilstein even with 40% off.

Powerflex...  Drill old ones out, then cut the metal holder being careful not to slice the wishbone, remove old ball joints, bolt new ones on, remove rear bush same process as front, and replace with new rubber bush.

Hard wired camera into the Insignia,  Couldn't find a ignition live in the roof,, so used a piggyback fuse in the fusebox, not ideal but it works...

Then tried to set memory seats, can't do that, and am struggling with the "Infotainment" system, phone working, radio works, so that'll do  :)

So I've had the Insignia a week,  let's begin.
Mirrors are Shite,  It's comfortable, climate system isn't as efficient as the Omega or the Saab,, and the Infotainment system is frigging not simples, the stupid rain sensing wipers I don't like,, The auto opening boot is nice,,, and I think new tyres will be required as it's got a right old mix on, being on 245/45/18 XL it might not be happening yet.
Changing the oil+filter is interesting,  if car isn't high enough you can't drop undertray flap down enough, and it's easier to remove front wheel to remove oil filter.

I can barely get £200 scrap for my 3.2 Elite, with Irmcher grill and steering wheel and its fully driveable.

The Grill+ Steering wheel and other bits you've got will make £200+  Eastern Europe is your friend
