True, but so would anything else apparently in budget.

As Vectras go, it's the right engine/gearbox, probably the best spec, and being an estate (with its longer wheelbase) has a decent amount of passenger and luggage space.

Not having wear and tear comes at a price.

that is especially true of decent sized estates. As always, condition and history are the important things. Full size spare and an £80 key are just distractions

It's a fair price all things considered...

There was one for sale a month or so ago for £500, which needed a radiator and short Mot. In Hastings.

That one is probably an £800 car after a haggle, but the extra is offset by being local and in good order

I look at a car like this £5000, if I get 5 years out of it I'm happy at £1000 per year  so for a grand a cheap years motoring anything after that is a bonus..😁

does not mean the one "lady owner" is 85 

and it has 135K on the clock
not such a bargain...
factor in the lower miles and no  door to replace + bodywork on the first one
you could look at both

I love the way they say that the bodywork is excellent... apart from the bleddy gurt scrape in the rear door.
