Flight 103 blew up over Lockerbie ...... Amazing how time flies.

Lockerbie used to just be a sign I went past on the A74 & a place I once got stuck at for 2 hours on the train ..... I could never have imagined what Lockerbie would signify in later years.  :(

Yes, I remember that night all too well, coming back from Cornwall on business and the radio announced a plane had apparently crashed onto Lockerbie......................................... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

It seems now that the enlightened Libyan authorities are on the verge of naming the true culprits of the disaster.......................and do not be surprised if Iran is implicated in it all as I and others have suspected for the 25 years! ::) ::) ::)

I was there that night. horrific.
I was 18 back then and that night myself my mate and his dad were in Lockerbie to visit his Gran.
Words can barely describe the scene. And yet there was a strange kind of quietness even though there was hundreds of people running around and police and fire engines everywhere. Very strange feeling. Almost like folk couldn't actually believe what had happened.
