It's the 50p from a car boot sale that turns out to be worth £100's or more that I search for regularly in the summer, they frequently turn up on these antique shows..... :D :D

I love those tales. A woman had 3 brooches bought for a few quid from a car boot, one of them was a Fabergé worth £10k  :y :y

I purchased a solid golden egg for 99p from a booter last year.

I believe it to be of french origin, but doubt it is worth more than a fiver. ;D ;)
