Changing Diff oil
« on: 24 December 2018, 17:13:39 »

A suggested cheat amendment to Mark's guide which I used successfully on both mine to avoid splitting the case.
With the car jacked as in the guide, remove the filler plug, and using an extractor pump and tube, remove the old oil, then use an appropriate filler bottle to fill with the correct amount and type of replacement oil. :y

That's how I do it  :y
diff oil id cheap ,so changing twice via the level plug saves snapped bolts and gasket leaks  :)

*putting the sawdust in a noisy diff so you can sell the car is harder via the level plug though  ;D

*JOKE  :y
