Dr Andy that cars a credit to you mate. Unless you're a photoshop expert that looks as good as day 1 👍👍👍

Thanks  :y

No Photoshop wizardry, just regularly washing, 6 monthly Wax on wax off, and keeping her in an integral nice and dry garage helps  :y, as probably does my OCD that I can't stand a dirt car  :D

Michelin pilots on mine as well from new, got nearly 25,000 out of them before they neared the end of their life.  :y

On original michelins, 32,000 and still a few mm remaining  :y

I got 75,000 miles out of the original Michelin tyres fitted to a rear of Granada  :y  :D

18,000 on fronts, 32,000 on rears.  running them all at a non standard 28psi else the centres wear faster - uses slightly more fuel, softer ride, seems to stop and corner just as well if not better.

Earlier FL came with Mich PS2, later with PS3 I believe.

I understand that the MFL MV6 came with Dunlop SP9000.

Best was 12000 (on driven wheels), consistently from Dunlop SP9000 and Sport Maxx TT's

Worse was 3000 from those shitty Continental SC5s, driving sensibly.

4k from Avon ZZ3s. Poor tyre, but such a hoot on my chipped tractor.

I would say we had stonkingly good mileage from some 2nd hand Nexen N6000s I got from RobG ages ago (they came with the wheels).  The threads finally poked through earlier this year. That's gotta be a good 20+k from 5mm to "not quite legal" :o. Shit tyre though.

So you knacker a set of tyres in less than 3 miles ???  :)  Pretty good going I must admit .. I think even drag racers do better than that !!
