 Ron.   That is the price shown on ebay so I assume that is the full price. for a 2.5 system

£66.91 plus 30% for VAT comes mighty close to that £80 price.....

Hello Ron Just put that exhaust into my basket and got a price of £103.40 no explanation of extra cost but still cheap for a cats back system. :y

Hello Ron Sorry got that price all wrong my basket had other things in it.Have ordered the exhaust and the price was £66.91.Cant understand so we will see what happens.

Whats the order....up with front of car/undo from cats(which will snap)(drill)use nuts and bolts and fit two middle sections..down with car and up with the rear and fit back box
Drilling out the cat section holes is difficult and time consuming. Better by far is to heat the cat section with the bolt threads in with an MAPP torch until it glows red, allow to cool, spray with WD40 or penetrating oil, and carefully unscrew the bolts.

I have had mine for years, marvellous tool. I found drilling out the old screws a rotten job. It's easy to break off the drill bits in the hardened steel, then you're really in trouble. I bought special cobalt drill bits, no better. I cursed Vx for switching from the Senator system of replaceable screws through holes to the Omega threads in the cat section; it made for easy assembly on the line but more difficult replacement.

Ok you sold me the idea terry...I bought one  ;D ;D ;D

I understand that heating the part a bolt is threaded into will make it expand and hopefully now the bolt will come out easier... but why wait for the nut side to go cold  :-\
