So, next Q, even though its still not right, are you starting to enjoy a bit of v6 power now?

No 2.2 in the cars for sale / wanted section yet ;D

Good to hear it's unravelling its' problems slowly though.

How would you know if it's working any beter than standard?

For items like this I don't see any point in using anything other than the GM parts. They are cheap enough and Omegas have been proven to soak up high mileages without engine wear using GM filters. More than can be said for any aftermarket replacement.

A lot also use a 32,768KHz xtal instead of the mains, so you might be lucky !

Agreed. Luck of the draw really, unless you open it up and look for a crystal.

Even with a transformer to give it 120v, some clocks use the mains frequency as a timing reference so, because the US use 60Hz and we use 50 Hz, the clock will not keep time.

You could sit on the front wheel while fixing the engine too. :y

Although normally, you were probably busy elsewhere with the Isopon!

Oh, and I've got a life expired oxygen cylinder in the garage from a glider. There's still plenty in it. Not exactly first aid kit size though. :-/

I bought a digital blood pressure tester.......it was rubbish.....it always said mine was fine......but when tested by doc with 'old fashioned' tester......mine was high.........

My blood pressure increases by about 30 mmHg whenever I'm anywhere near a doctor. Took my electronic tester in for "calibration" last time I was there and it was spot on.

Who knows what the real situation was? Copper could have politely pointed out that technically it's an offence to have left the car running with no intention to prosecute and got a load of jip off the Merc driver.

Merc driver could have been politely pointing out that he'd taken measures to secure the car and Copper thought he was being a smart @rse.

Either way, it sounds like the copper had decided it wasn't worthy of a conviction but just a caution and then changed his mind when talking to the bloke. Not sure I 100% agree with that. The crime isn't altered by the guy's attitude but I guess the copper is free to use his discretion.

Next time he'll just drive off with frozen windows >:(

The letter of the law perhaps, but there's got to be room for a bit of common sense somewhere, surely?

Not sure about the Grand Cherokee, but Land / Range Rover LPG's have some kits to put the LPG tanks underneath at the rear boot?

Might be worth investigating.

zirk.

yep ive seen these for the JEEP as well.....give me the boot space back...

think its definately worth investigating

It's the normal trade off between range and space consumed, I guess. Depends how many miles you need to be doing on a fill up. A tank change wouldn't be a problem. Shame you're not closer to James, Markie(No.2) and I!

I don't know how specific the LPGA certificate is no what tank was installed might need to get it certified again just for good measure.

Did it have an SGI system or mixer in the end?

how easy is it to move the tank?

Depends if you've got enough pipe to get it where you want and if the pipe is solid copper or flexible, but not too much work. Plug the old mounting holes and drill some more, reconnect the fuel feed and filler pipes and electrics.

I use amarok under Linux and I would agree it's rather good. I have a feeling I heard a rumour about a Windows port somewhere...
