The second race will be run with no spectators!
Would anyone notice?  It has become so dull and dreary, I'm surprised it gets any audience.  Even the highlights of races now are tedious.
He forgot ludicrously expensive for an hour and a half of motorsport. ^  ;)

This is like groundhog day, you say that every year!  There will soon be acres of coverage of speed rock climbing or Cheltenham Horse racing or wrestling or boxing for a few minutes for ludicrously high purses. Roll on next Sunday but secretly I do hope for more damp races......

Jean Todt has announced that he personally took charge of the investigation. Surely as former Ferrari team principal he should have declared a possible interest and distanced himself from it, rather than conducting it.
In the real world that us mortals live in, his position should now be untenable. It stinks to high heaven.
I hope the other teams don't let it lie. Its time the Ferrari boil on F1,s bum was lanced once and for all.

Interpreting the rules and cheating are two different things. All F1 teams have very clever people who push the rules to the limits. It seems Ferrari can just ignore the rules as long as they aren't completely blatant about it.
A bit more info here.
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/148542/how-ferrari-and-the-fia-reached-a-settlement

In Motorsport, interpretation off the rules and cheating, go hand in hand, just some employe, better legal and engineering minds to do both,. Ferrari have been at it since day 1,    an example pump fuel, so they had there brew available at 1 pump, in a little out of the way place,  yes cheating but also an interpretation of the rules.

Every year I think it can’t get any less interesting, but always proved wrong.

It’s all mess d up when you have to pray for rain, or force tyre changes, in order to see a genuine overtake.

No game/sport/activity was ever made more interesting by adding additional rules. Why F1 bosses don't seem to understand this fact is beyond me.  :-\
