Anybody got any tips to clean the cream/grey leathers seats. tried all the usual stuff thats been on here before but nothing is cleaning the ground in dirt. I was thinking of either trying to dye them black or put up a wanted add.

I have just picked up a set of these and noticed a lot of old glue marks from the wheel weights. Any recommended way of safely removing this. I was thinking of petrol and a bit of hard plastic.

Interesting conversation at work yesturday, one of my regular customers came in and was looking a bit stressed. I asked him whats the problem and he explained he was driving along when from the back of his van something exploded and they was flames everywhere. He quickly pulled up and call the fire service. After putting out the flames they checked the back of the van. It turns out the brand new 6 piece makita set one of the batteries shorted out and went bang in turn setting off the paslo nail gun gas cartridges

We are now talking with makita and his company to see who is going to pay the bill.

Cleared a p130 code yesturday then took a 100mile round trip. This morning drove to work and light came back on. Checked with code reader again and got p130 and now getting p150 this is the second time in a month for the p150. I know have a issue on p130 side but whats going on with the p150

Omega General Help / : Bilstein B4 Rear Shocks

Got a set of these for the rear of my 3.2 saloon. I have fitted them but not happy. Hoping for some ideas from anyone else that has these fitted.
I noticed when i removed the air shocks, that the spindle that comes out of the top is shorter on the b4's therefore has less thread for the top nut.
 I remembered that i read on here that it is better to use the orginal rubbers and washers instead of the b4 stuff. Thats where my problem started i fitted the rubber and washer for under the car then went to the inside and went to fit the nut on the top and it just wouldnt fit.
As a temp fix i cut the top rubber in halve. Iam not happy with this but needed the car mobile.

any ideas where i have gone wrong..

O yes i did check on the bilstein website and i do have the correct ones. They number is 19-028613

Omega General Help / wheel wobble

Since having my setup done the other day when i take the car upto and beyond 60 i get a really bad shake on the steering wheel. I have checked the balance weights and non have fallen off. Tyre pressures both the same. Wheel nuts are tight.
Any other ideas please before i go back

Omega General Help / s/l shocks + pump

Removing the shocks and pump on the self leveling is there a certain way of doing this or does it not matter.

e.g remove rear shocks (replace with b4)
remove pump.
tie up old pipes and wire.
job done..

do i still have to remove black relay under steering wheel and if so which one.

I bought myself some 2nd hand alloys last year and decided to paint the spokes black and leave the outer rim with its stainless steel rim alone. I like the look so want to get them dipped and professionaly sprayed and baked..

 My question is will this destroy the stainless rim or will it be abled to be polished up again
