My estae would crank for a long time if fuel level was below quarter tank. Leak off pipes are a pain to do but get the replacement pipe from a diesel injection placd as it will be known good pipe. Injector 6 has a blanking piece on it which is a real pig to get to. Again, if replacing this, get from a good injection place

Series 1, chrome bumpers, sloping dash and oil/battery gauge in dash clock set
Series 1 1/2, very few cars made, differant seats, squarer dash layout and differant dash clock set, still with chrome bumpers
Series 2 differant bonnet, mainly smooth, differant headlamps, front indicators, plastic bumpers, some front brake differancs, longer drop links, differant wheels
The main visual differancs between the models of the series, saloons and coupes included. My old Opel Senator is a 1 1/2. As for the 2.8 carb, there was/is a conversion using a Weber which also makes it manual choke. Got one on my Senny but dont ask me what model the carb is as not been under the bonnet for a long time.

Have a look in the cars for sale section as Bigriffin is selling his estate. Most of the normal known problems are sorted. as for getting the car looked after once bought, Serek is second to none in expertise and quality of work

Definatly more awkward than difficult. Is your car a PLF or FL? PFL have four bolt fixing whare FL have three bolt. If PFL and yours is goosed, I have one that I bought for my FL in error before knowing there was a differance

They will definatly write the car off on the year unless it was a Ferrari. Do the big haggle on valuation by rejecting the first two offers of half a bag of crisps then the half a bag of crisps and a Mars bar. Obtain the replacement parts yourself and get the fitted and/or painted by the body man you know and trust. Once done, you will have to contact DVLA to book a VIC check. Do not let the car be taken away by the insurance company or surrender the log book. Haggle, haggle. pester and haggle them over and over until they get fed up and you may get a settlement before Christmas and some where near your own figure. My own experiance took 4 1/2 years from incident to payout and they still stiffed me despite me complying with all there criteria

Some early 2.5 V6 cars and 2.5 diesels were also fitted with the 280mm discs. As long as they are 296mm Baja, they will fit ok
