I find local electrical retailers very competitive, and they have stock for same day delivery. :y
But I cant find one that sells anything that fits my (simple) needs.  I thought it would be easy to buy a telly, hence "how hard can it be?"

it is:

Go to Currys where they have lots.
Pick one that's the right size for the room, and price for your budget.
Have them carry it to the car
Drive home
Plug it in and remind yourself how much unwatchable shit there is on the telly.

No. They don't have a single one. Nor do the likes of Argos, the Supermarkets, Richer Sounds, Eurotronics or whatever they are called.  I've also tried online with John Lewis (as not a store near me) and generic searches, and drawn a blank.

Hence the title.

You want a basic tv that no one else has any use for now, we have all 'upgraded'.

Space constraints in the room its going in means it really cant be bigger than 27", which seems to be the problem.  That and the requirement for it to also be 1080p.

It work appear than 32" is the smallest "portable"/bedroom TV now, but I don't have room for anything that big.

https://www.richersounds.com/lg-24mt49s.html
2 things - not 1080p and no longer available at any Richer Sounds store.
