i always new the Ti was very very fast.

One thing i did like about it, was its fairly standard looks.

It blended in with all other 600's

Yes welcome back Martin  :)

Why would someone want to steal your caravans waterpump  :-?
I thought they were usually inside the van somewhere (under the sink?)

They are usually outside unprotected  :(

They are usually stuck in a huge can of water, and plugged into the Van. Very easy to nick, and expensive little item too  :(

£40 for a Whale 921 >:(

My grandparents hid the water tank under the Van, think you can get tops for them that are sealed but allow the water pipe though. Then lay the can on its side underneath the van. Makes it less tempting to nick

Leaking manifold on PASSENGER side! Duh, it would be!

So, possibly top off, passenger head off, then either change the head or build it back up from there.

Its a 2.2, soooo easy. You can see it easily and nothing is in its way... should be very easy i would have thought?

No sorry Tunnie. You are confusing the starter motor with the engine here mate. This has a real engine, 2.5v6! ;D

Oh my God....... ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can see myself having this God status for a while, wonder how many puns or jokes there will be?

On many Vauxhalls, to reset service light, don't you switch on ignition with the ODO button pressed in, or something like that?

Remember, cheapo Tech2 wont interface to your new Veccy, as Vectra C is CAN bus based.
Did a search on google......ummm came up with a link to vxon site!!

Had a peep and like you TheBoy it said ODO button pressed in/ign on/off etc....but it was said for veccy 99 onwards.....my 2001 veccy doesnt have service indicator.. :-/ so not sure....give it a go i guess

Thats usefull to know with my facelift if the light ever comes on...

A lot of work, yet possibly little gain financially?

Have to agree, would be an awful lot of work.

The advert in your paper rings a bell, I remember a V plate Facelift Estate going though eBay, saying it was LPG converted but did't have an engine!

If you see this car Markiec, and its silver & missing its engine - then i suspect thats its being sold on again  :-/

On the up side its a CD model, so easier to sell than the basic GLS...

Tunnie its deep metallic blue in Falkirk, Scotland - if it rings a bell?

The one i saw was silver... so thats good. The one i saw was up north too, but its not the one i saw on eBay.

Good luck, if you can get it for less than £500 would be a bargin!  :)
