Got it tracked after replacing a TRE for MOT.  That'll give me time to look at what else needs replacing before sending it to WIM.

Although I think I need to turn my attention to the original (and still the best I've driven) one, as a decision needs to be made  :'(

Go on, pull the sill covers off, you know you want too... what can possibly go wrong???!!!

I have an irrational urge to do this....  ::)   But I keep telling myself " Don't do it!! " well not until MOT time next May anyway.  ;D

So you smeared some 'curry sauce' over the hole, pumped up the tyre and drove home?  ;D

I need a responsible adult to do it whilst I'm not looking, and then breaking it to me gently  :'(

OK, the sills are rusty and it needs new ones. Buy some, and get welding; sills are an easy job.

it's a good job to start with, especially on a car where the plastic covers will disguise lower skilled work. Seriously, basic MIG welding on car bodywork is achievable with 5 minutes tuition and 30 minutes practice on a correctly setup welder.

Took the wheel off today , pumped it up and covered the wheel in soapy water to check for any leaks ... No leaks break all and still holding pressure while back on the car  ::) Someone i suspect has been letting tyres down in the area  >:( >:( >:(

You're lucky they just let the tyres down  :). around here and a few other streets around Newport someone decided to slash all the tyres on practically every car in the street just before Christmas. and to top it off when I went to get my tyres replaced the moron managed to put the wrong size on and when I went back to complain they replaced those with ones with virtually no tread on them (found out after I got home again  ??? ). and then in January the car was written off by a Frenchman in a rented mokka on the same day that someone was using my credit card to do some shopping..

Fitted new door check strap bushes now i finally have them. Went into Drive Vauxhall in Bury St Edmunds to inquire where they had got to. The guy returned and said that i could have the ones that i couldn,t have three weeks ago as the customer who they were put by for didn,t bother to pick them up. Can,t blame Andyc as he is off sick. Get well soon Andy. :y

Just for a change I have done nothing to my Omega today or for the last 30 days infact. Maybe she's finally got her sorted. (fingers crossed).
