Display lights
« on: 28 May 2019, 09:05:36 »

I have an 03 CDX and the illumination for the information panel on the left of the dashboard is just about zero in the daytime.  Night time isn't too bad but during daylight hours I can't see anything at all, can anyone help me, please?

Thanks to all

If rest of dash is ok then more than likely the bulbs blown. ( 4 of them in green holders) .
If I recall correctly.
Do not switch ign on whilst dash is removed if you remove it to change them

Had the same recently.  Follow the guide in maintenance section to remove the instrument panel .

Removing the loom plug to the MID can be a little tricky if your first time . The catch just rolls back to release the multiplug. No need to remove the MID from the panel.

Once panel is out the bulbs just twist in their holders to remove.  Not sure what bulbs they are as I

had spares in holders from a previously broken omega .

But all good & so much brighter once changed .  3 of the 4 of mine removed looked blown .

Also agree with previous post  . . .if your instrument backlights are ok & bright it wont be the dimmer

rolled down .  Seems sensible not to turn on ignition with instrument panel removed as well  :y
