Breaking Star Silver "X" 2.0 CDX auto
« on: 18 December 2009, 21:54:30 »

Right this one is being broken. It still drives but just haven`t the time or inclination to do the headgasket. Any interested parties, Star silver Z147, tyres & exhaust done about 3K. Plenty of new parts recently fitted. See this thread

The other week I drove it from Longleat,Warminster back home to Bristol, about 40 miles. Temp stayed in normal range and used about just over half of the expansion tank

If you're serious about breaking it all I'm after is the black plastic insert on the drivers side in the front bumper.

What colour is the plastic cover that goes over the drivers seat runner by the drivers door? I broke mine and I've been looking for a light grey one for a year now, so put me down for that if its light grey and you want to sell it

If it's not broken, I would be interested in the cam belt cover off the front of the engine assuming it is the ecotec 2.0 engine.
How much for it including postage to B44 0BQ.

Black plastic insert arrived this morning.  Just have to get down on my hands and knees to work out how it fits using the metal clips.  Ah well, at least I can pop out the passenger side one to compare  :y.

Top service too, ta.
