what was wrong with engine pete? how much G cams?

Hi Neil. I think the cams have sold but I will check. Don't know what was wrong with the engine, I didn't really bother looking, just added up how much it was worth in parts and decided to break it

Looking at the top picture I'm guessing it doesn't have reversing sensors ?? 

Never known much go wrong with the Vx factory fit units.....you got problems with it

Bit of a thread steal .. but constant tone on selecting reverse... at the meet was shown a "vibration/ticking" test to do on the sensors .. only 2 vibrate/tick. Have unplugged the 2 that don't and still get constant tone. Got 2 on order from HG03HNO .. hopefully will sort it

I am breaking my Elite, the car is complete and in a really good condition apart from a slight knocking from the engine. I has all the usual Elite trimmings, Black memory leather, HIDs, Cruise, Bose NCDC2013, Prodrive rear spoiler ect. I'm keeping the alloys, rear blind and headlight washers for my diesel but everything else is up for grabs but need to be gone by the 9th July as I have another car coming.






All prices plus delivery but collection is possible.

Prodrive rear spoiler removed    SOLD
Black leather memory seats front and rear in excellent condition including rear loom, relays and switches £150ono collection only.
[size=12]AR35 gearbox, 99500 miles and works perfectly, includes selecter switch and torque converter. collection only [/size]£100
Central locking actuators £15 each
Bose NCDC 2013  with screen and code £50ono. The cover is missing off the multi CD and the cartridge is stuck but the rest works ok so spares or repair.
Bose amp, speakers, aerial and wiring SOLD.
ABS ECU £40
Mint doors with no rust complete with glass, window motors but no speaker, central locking actuators £30ono each

I may be able to deliver all the items listed collection only within a 50 mile radius for fuel cost.

The whole car is being broken but there's too many parts to list so if you want anything just ask.

Its the upper of the 2 pipes that go into the bulkead on the drivers side
