My exhaust is shot... but its not blowing anyware!

Put it on the pavement at home (once side on it) so i could clearly reach underneath. Although it looks bad, its not blowing anyware.....

Also i belive its the orginal exhaust!  :o - So its done 95k miles!  :o :o

Looks like it never cooled down then.  We see company cars with circa 200 000 (200K) miles at 2 -3 years old still on original full systems.   :o

Although they are very very expensive, better on TC about £200 / £220 in total for GM stuff - I can't complain at the qauility, 6 years and 100,000 miles and its still the orginal? - I'd pay £200 for another one that does 100k

I could only find genuine.  Nobody seems to make 2.2's.

Good news about the Trade club though.

TD only 3 boxs mate, you might be looking at the main CAT !!!

If you look above that on the downpipe you will also see the starter CAT !

But only 3 silencers mate

Yup.

TD the zorst starts after the flexi join.

You have the 2 silencers side by side in the mid section, then the rear box.

And what a stupid place to put a flexy joint !!!
When the flexy joint goes and it will, you have to replace the two CATS !!!!
Mind you there is a repair section you can get from germany for the flexi but its £70 !
A pattern downpipe with the two CATs and the flexi can be got for about 120 ish or is it 110 , cant remember now , might even be 90 !

Ah rite...cheers

So after that flexi join I have a single box....the cat I assume....this then branches out to 2 seperate boxes side by side......then back to together again to the rear box

Correct?

I registered for Trade Club about 4 weeks ago and I'm still waiting, do you know how long it take for the card to come through?

It varies wildly - sometimes its only a week, sometimes much, much longer?
