Due to the ever increasing popularity of the 'Omega God' there now seems to be a few vacancies for 'Omega Expert'. Surely we can't have more than one God to every Expert! So I propose a bonus 100 post count for every member 
just to even things up a bit. I'm sure you will all agree this is a wonderful idea and it would indeed put many smiles on many faces.

General Discussion Area / Bobby Baseball Bat

On my way home tonight, pulled up at some lights ( about fourth in line , going straight on). White van man pulls up at the front of the lane to turn left. Big long blast of the horn, followed by screeching rubber as an M3 slides past me up to white van man. Guy jumps out of M3 shouting and waving bobby baseball bat around and heads for white van man. White van man decides not to hang around (good option me thinks) and he's off, through the red lights and disapears round the corner never to be seen again. Guy calmly walks back to his car , throws bobby back in,( lights change to green ) and off he goes, but not before wheel spinning away and cutting more than one car up in the process.
Just how safe are we out there with these nutters going round? How many baseball bats and similar items are in the back of cars nowadays :-?

I've just been out to do a quote for a job as you do, and yes i do meet some strange people from time to time , hazards of the job, but this one has won first prize by a mile. I was only suposed to be looking at a few kitchen units. I was then shown the rest of the house( why ), the garden ( its raining and dark ) including the newly installed water feature. I was then personally introduced to the dog, the cat, a pug 106 in the garage and a guitar, followed by an invitation for myself and Mrs Timbuk to go round once a week for a glass of wine and some tuition in the art of guitaring Sorry, do i know you? TIME TO LEAVE

On my way home someone coming the other way decided to flash me :-?, 'don't know who they are' I thought to myself, fifty yards later i got flashed again :-? :-?, 'Hmmmn Whats wrong here then' was my next thought. Another fifty yards, yep, flashed again :-? :-? :-?, now i know there's something wrong, so i start flapping, slow down whilst looking round at all four corners of the car. Can't see any smoke or fires and it feels like i've still got all for wheels attached so i prepare to stop and investigate some more, when suddenly i notice what all the fuss was about!! Parked neatly on the other side of the road was a little white van , yep a mobile speed camera. So whats my problem then? It's this, I remember when if there was a patrol car parked up or you were heading towards a speed trap you used to get a thumbs down from oncoming traffic, so why doesn't this happen anymore? :-/ Don't get me wrong, i was quite happy that one person flashed me at all , let alone three , but it might have stopped me jumping round the car as if i had a wasp buzzing an inch from the end of my nose. Does anybody still do this

Before i proceed, this is at no time aimed at Bob.dent , he has just reminded me of the subject in his welcome to Dellboy, and its one of my pet hates!!!
It's a fooking RELIANT ROBIN, why is this car the only car in the world that is said the wrong way round, ie robin reliant. Who drives a Focus Ford or a Civic Honda? No one. I even heard a policeman call it a robin reliant the other day on one of them 'police chase bad people' programs on the TV , so i promptly threw the dog at it and shouted very loudly ' RELIANT BLOODY ROBIN ' so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE remember its a RELIANT ROBIN.

P.S. No Springer Spaniels were harmed in the making of this thread
