Irmscher MV6 manual - with a twist
« on: 22 July 2013, 08:09:49 »

Finally got my Irmscher front bumper painted and fitted, got the front end re-painted to sort stone chips and dent on N/S wing from when someone slid into it back in the icy weather.  Couple of other bits tidied up while it was in.

Next is the facelift side mouldings.

Looking ok for 180k though I reckon.

The "twist" is that it's been retro-fitted with all the Elite extras, has been lowered a little and now has my "special" 3L V6 engine.  A few other things that should be obvious from the pictures  ;)

Cheers. It's been a 2 1/2 year re-shell project. Don't think there's a bolt I haven't touched inside or out!!

Yeah, those are the wheels I got from you mate. Still looking pretty good

Polar Sea Blue pearlescent, looks lovely in the sun, shows scratches like mad though.

How's yours these days? Still got the estate?

Yeah, those are the wheels I got from you mate. Still looking pretty good > yes, they are, I'm glad! :y :y

Polar Sea Blue pearlescent, looks lovely in the sun, shows scratches like mad though. > isn't there always a down side to great colours!

How's yours these days? Still got the estate? >Doing well - my Irmscher front bumper has been repaired twice since installation in 2009, but looking ok for a family car. The 19" alloys are long gone - Have F/L 17" in powder coated black now.
Still not got round to the manual conversion mind - not so sure it'll be worth it, but hey ho, one day, just may be one day!

Nice to see your Mig getting the treatment it deserves!
