Resets
« on: 08 December 2014, 03:20:33 »

On my 99 Elite there are ECU reset procedures for the sunroof, windows and climate control that I am aware of.

Are there any reset procedures on any of the electrical items on the base 03 Models.

TIA :y

Climate and lock resets all apply, sunroof obviously depends if one is fitted or not :-\

All facelift cars have EEC fitted as standard regardless of spec/engine :y

Being the base model does it have Climate?  2003 CD 2.2

If so, how is it reset?

I can never remember  ::) I think press and hold auto and off, but it is in the manual :y

There's a copy in the FAQs if you don't have one...

CD isn't base, EEC is climate :y Elite only on pre/mid facelifts, standard on ALL facelifts...

I'm sure you meant to say "ECC is fitted to Elite and CDX for PFL, Elite, CDX and retail MV6 for MFL, and all FL" ;)

Reset procedure for PFL/MFL is Auto/Off for 5 secs. Not sure on FL, but tis in manual I'm sure. Never had to do it on a FL TBH.

Wrong answer. Correct answer was "Except, Mr TB, very early Omega (1994) didn't have climate at all" :P

No need to reset climate if battery disconnected - elec windows and sunroof (if fitted) ;)

Face lift cc reset isn't as straight forward as on the pre face lift ime. Quite often, it only works with engine off ignition in position 2.

Certainly you can't do it ad hoc like on the pre face lift.  ....IME snyway.
