Check the pollen filter, scuttle drain and the vents in the boot (in the bottom of the side cubby hole on a saloon and and the rear of the spare wheel well on an estate)

if you have alot of junk in that boot cubby space then that stops it working too!
best thing to do is to keep the fan on number 1 on the windscreen- thats what i do and it keeps the air circulating... mine steams up easy as anything without the fan on but i breath very heavily im told haha!

is the ac working and eco off?
No damp in the car, carpets dry, including the rear foot well?

Funny you say that I did have a fair bit in there but now the vents are clear. Unfortunately its only slightly better still mists up.

Unforunately I dont have an eco button but a circulate button and twist dials  :'(

I have checked the carpets, and the rear footwells are dry.

Maybe a good idea but constant blowing on the screen will put a film over it which will attract moisture and thus 'mist up'  :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

sonds like you got a pin hole in the heater matrix, you could always check for loose connections  at point of entry to matrix, could suggest you try a rad sealer?if all else fails as matrix not so handy to gain access and remove

Think I sorted mine, changed pollen filter, checked vents in boot, all fine, then washed car and found about a gallon of water in the scuttle, the rubber tube was blocked solid, cleaned it out and woopee seems to be ok now ;D

I find that if I don't keep the window clean it mists up easily. As my window gets more dirt on it I can use the eco button less and less!
