REAR SHOCK MOUNT KIT?

I know i need to buy rear shock mount kit from vauxhall and have part numbers however i read a thread regarding vauxhall shocks or non genuine have different kit is this true?

some saying saloon kit only fits vauxhall shocks
all shocks will need estate kit?

im fitting genuine irmscher shocks so wondering what kit ill need

The irmscher ones should come with the correct mounting kit.

The irmscher ones should come with the correct mounting kit.
The cheapy irmscher ones from Germany don't necessarily...

I fitted a set of KYB rear shocks to mine about 3 years ago and used the fitting kit supplied with no problems.  :y

Why do people say you have to use the Vx fitting kit?  :-\

They fit well, and a are better than some fitting kits supplied by some shock absorber company's. 

Now the sarcastic answer because its genuine. :)  ;D

The set that came with my B4,was pretty nasty and ended up in the bin.

Managed to source genuine VX parts from our ever helpful forum guys and the quality and fit was noticeably better..

Didn't like the B4,s as ride a tad harsh so after about 500 miles bought a set of Sachs and reused the VX fitting kit.Ride now suites my needs better. :y

Sachs are a genuine OE alternative, Bilsteins are aftermarket, and their fitting kits are an oppsing joke :-X

Never had an issue with the fitting kits, though its been a while since I've bought any.

Doesn't matter guys been told NLA fro vauxhall now

So anyone know where else i can get them from as cannot find rear top mount kit anywhere
