Is this correct?
Or is there one on each bank?

Managed to source a genuine sensor,
Unfortunatley, it has a square plug and not an oval one, I hadn't thought to check first.

Square plugged v6 sensor ready to post if anyone wants it.

Omega General Help / Shift Solenoid PO758
« on: 13 February 2024, 18:40:31 »
I have started getting this code again, once cleared its fine but a few minutes later its back up, with the spanner light on, and i'm limping. Shift solenoid 'B' apparently.
Had this before at the same time as a wiring issue, then i understood it was fixed.

How difficult is this to change? If I took the sump off, what would i be looking at?
This is assuming there are parts available.

Omega General Help / Still wont start.
« on: 20 August 2023, 14:00:22 »
So after replacing the starter, and it started fine,
I had a fault code of PO758, shift solenoid
Cleared code and she ran fine. Then the shifter starting acting up, all lights lit up and went in to limp mode.

Now the car wont start at all! as in wont crank, again, So back to square one.

Any ideas?

No, not dropped keys. The chip in still in there, but then i guess it would spin over and not fire in that case scenario.
I wondered about the inhibitor switch, as the starter is doing nothing, wont even crank the engine slowly.
I shall try the wooden mallet as soon as I can.

Thinking about it, I had a starter put in about four years ago.

Omega General Help / Car wont turn over
« on: 13 August 2023, 20:14:20 »
So after running fine, I went to start the car and all I got is a relay click from the engine bay.
If it turned over slowly or starter clicked Id have an idea, but its just dead.

Battery is good.

Where do I start guys?
