Omega General Help / half shaft bolt torque setting.

Would anybody know the torque setting for the 6 bolts at the back of the hub that connects the half shafts to the hubs?

Omega General Help / air mass flow meter.

Hi I have two omega B's both 2.5td one is 1995 and the other is 1996. The 1995 doesn't have an air flow meter. But the 1996 does have an air flow meter.

I'm wondering does anyone know a way to remove the air flow meter from the car for good? it's hardly as simple as just plugging it out?

and so it begins.
in the Last week i have striped out the front and back sub frames and disassembled them and stared to sand them down but now have decided to get them sand blasted after Christmas
and all new bushings and bearings.

Front subframe

front Brakes and hubs need new bearings Because there a bit noisy also have grooved discs ordered

Rear subframe

Need to get rid of this diff and get my hands on an LSD

put on a new sump as i tuck the last one that was on it for my other omega

Omega General Help / Gear Box

Could someone please help !
I got my 1996 2.5td omega chiped but due to the amount of torque

the clutch is slipping. the clutch is not gone

i need to get a ceramic paddle clutch or if any one else knows of a different type of clutch that would be suitable.

what gear box is in my 2.5td and what other omega has the same clutch/gear box?

i have a 2.5td 96 omega and would like to replace the diff with an lsd if i can get one! does any one know what ratio diff came in the 2.5td and what other diff ratios came in the petrols and what ratio the lsd diff is .
and Was it a certain model omega the lsd came in or was it an optional extra?

i read this on a saab forum just wonderng is it true and what are eccentric cone bolts??..

"Why not look for rims with a 108x5 or 112x5 pattern and use bolts with eccentric cones?"
