Omega General Help / air mass flow meter.
« on: 09 June 2014, 13:16:40 »
Hi I have two omega B's both 2.5td one is 1995 and the other is 1996. The 1995 doesn't have an air flow meter. But the 1996 does have an air flow meter.

I'm wondering does anyone know a way to remove the air flow meter from the car for good?  it's hardly as simple as just plugging it out?

in the spray boot ready for primer and paint. decided why not paint it the some colour as my omega .

considering it was my first time to spray paint with car paint and lacquer it turned out okay  :) it beats a panel beaters bill!!

this is it finished and shining :)

sticker bombed the centres of the small 8" wheels

The first ones are Holdens from Australia if I'm not mistaken
And plan to-do the back more like a Holden pick-up rather than that orange omega I wouldn't be to keen on his design but every one to the're own taste :-)

Cheers  flyer 0712 and webby the bear

I will keep it well updated

Very well done. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product. Do you have a pic of what you're hoping it will look like at the end?

Those are great pics of the stripped underbelly of the Omega, something I've been learning a lot about with help from OOF seniors  :y

What's the reasoning for the project?

 :)

Hoping for it to turn out something like the Holden utes they have in Australia

Reason for doing it is its a 2.5td and I have one on the road at the moment I did up last year and in Ireland the tax is 1100Euro a year for a 2.5 litre. But because this will be then classified as a commercial vehicle it will only cost only 350 Euro a year to tax. Plus I also wanted a cool project to take on :-)

Need to get rid of this diff and get my hands on an LSD
