Intro etc
« on: 05 December 2015, 09:34:26 »

Hi folks - newbie here  :y. I'm based in Nottingham and I don't actually own an Omega, but I have learnt quite a lot about Vauxhall cars on this excellent forum. I registered yesterday as I have a question about my car

It's a Meriva B (1.4, petrol, 2011). I was wondering whether one of the tech2 wizards on this forum can activate the trip computer and cruise control on this car, please? I'm not sure if these features come with the car, but are simply deactivated from factory. Any help will be great.

Hi, welcome to the forum :y

You will get a better response if you post your question in general car chat. A starting point question is "does the vehicle actually have the cruise control stalk and buttons?" if that is how it works on such a modern vehicle!

I appreciate your response, pal. It doesn't appear to have those, though I haven't looked that hard. I've read that even where there's none fitted from factory, it can be done by someone who knows what they're doing. But if cruise control's going to be a pain to have, I'll forego that and focus on getting just the trip computer activated. Thanks once again, I'll repost this in the general car chat section.
