Works quite well on the dark colour.

I've got the Chrome surround on my Irmscher grille... I wasn't sure but it soon grew on me

Hmmm, undecided on that possibly a little too much "bling".Having said that I'm not a fan of the irmy style grille anyway.Don't mind the chrome surround, but possibly with a black mesh grille perhaps? That might work but then it might not!

Chrome and gold plated Cadillac Catera grill with chromed CD wheels...

All a bit too shiny for me, if only because there's sod all chrome on the rest of the car :-\

Basically...I'm a bit of a closet chav! :) and being around the custom car scene back in the seventies I can't leave a car alone, and really I don't want to offend the purists, but the Omega's dated appearance just lends itself to a minimal bit of cosmetic work, and let's face it all of my cars can be returned to their factory look with an absolute minimum of effort.....just depends on the what your personal view is  and where you want to be.Also as long as I'm able to... these three cars are in a lot safer hands than most other Omegas out there and in general want for nothing, and with more work planned for this year, then it's more than likely they will see me out :)

I like it, Don't think it would suit a silver Omega though. Maybe it would look good with the Irmscher bumper mesh grill was chrome also?  :y

Thanks, it may stay or when I'm a bit bored I may well spend an hour or two rubbing down the mesh part of the grill and spray it black, just leaving the chrome surround...sort of a  fake Irmy grill :-\

Can't comment on led side repeaters as I've never seen any,but I don't see how they could look "wrong".I'm far from being a purist for instance if they could be done right I reckon possibly some extra repeaters on the mirror casings would look good and again if they could be done right possibly even some drl's into the headlight casings.

Sorry Ken, but on a dark car that has no other chrome it looks really tacky. Perhaps if you fitted some chrome arches, mirror casings and door handles it would look like it belonged. Belonged, but still nasty ;)

Although it was a temporary fit and I'm not keen on it either, but  as you all like it so much it's now staying as I'm now thinking that a full chrome body wrap may well be the way to go. Think that should put the cat amongst the pidgeons ....only joking  ::)  :) I think! :-\
