One touch window
« on: 05 August 2017, 16:28:43 »

After I had the drivers window replaced, the one touch either up or down didn't work.

I tried opening the window fully and shutting fully leaving the button pressed for about 10secs after the window had fully opened/closed.

Now the one touch works for opening the window but not closing....

I am assuming its same operation on the Ford as it is on the omega, to 'learn' the windows  :-\

Any ideas chaps or something left not connected when they had the drivers door panel off  :-\

You have reset the one-touch correctly, so the only thing different is what happened during the window replacement. Put simply, it worked before the replacement, it doesn't now.
Refer back to the repaires and get them to correct whatever they did wrong.

You only need to hold the switch on the 'up' for a few secs (you hear a click from inside the door) to reset the windows

No idea on Mundano TD, but most cars, Omega included, you only need to set the UP.

But in this case, as DG says, I'd try same procedure for the DOWN.

I have tried this again this morning.

Window down and switch held for 10 secs.....you can hear a click a few seconds after the window is fully open

Window up and switch held for 10 secs......no click...

One touch works for open but not closed  :(

Time to Please read the manual I'm afraid then TD.  Not familiar with Fords, for obvious reasons.

.......

Now the one touch works for opening the window but not closing....
......

.... and it definitely did before?  :-\

Not all cars do auto close due to lack of anti-trap electronics. e.g. both Windows on my Smart auto open, but only the driver's will auto close.
