I've read lots about this on various sites. I'm not worried about performance, I'm more interested in boosting the cetane for a cleaner burn to protect the DPF. A so-called 'expert' reckons that you can put this in shitty diesel (which I won't be using) and get around what he calls the con of premium diesel, which can cost dear at the pump. 
It's just arrived and 1 ltr treats 1000 litres, so we'll see. If my car runs fine with no problems, I'll never know if this stuff had anything to do with that or not. But it can't do any harm and, at £20 to treat 1000 litres, why not?

Joking aside, the extra ppl of V power gets returned with improved mpg, so actual cost per mile is, at worst, the same. In reality you'll probably find it lower using premium fuels

Obviously it's not my car, so put what you like in it, but read the warranty carefully...

Sounds very much like a product sold on the vegoil site. Cant remember the name, but a 1 litre can treats many tankfuls, and a few capfuls per tank boosts cetane and more than restores the small loss of performance from using vegoil.
I was given a can of the stuff and was sceptical, but it  was free so gave it a go.
The difference in performance was  very noticeable indeed.

As its quite low miles, I wouldn't be overly concerned, just read the handbook for what to do when the light comes on.  If it was 80-100k miles, I'd probably be more concerned. It will need some regular longer runs, and ideally you want to let it regen long before the light comes on.

Also, service regular, and ensure you use the absolute correct oil for the engine, not just any old stuff, as the oil mixing with the unburnt particles is likely to cause a faster demise.

increasing the cetane number of diesel fuel is a valid way of reducing smoke especially in a worn engine so its not snake oil.  Environmentally conscious places like California specify a higher minimum number than euroland allows, and premium diesel has a higher number than base diesel.

Product description sounds very much like this this https://www.dipetane.com that is used extensivly over here. I've used it for some years on my Transit and it's never failed on emmissions. Much cheaper at €10, roughly £ 8 , too. I also add some two stroke oil to a full tank.

Just us a low saps oil, changed regular, if you have access to truck spec oils, they are low saps, as most HGV are euro5-6 now and use adblue and sccr,
Haven't a clue when mine regens,  the V4 Volvo has a light on the dash which tells you its re-gening, but were doing lots of motorway miles, so not an issue.
