Another years ticket BUT .............
« on: 01 September 2017, 12:32:52 »

The rear donut bushes are have some play in them (which answers the question of why my lovely omega has been wanting to throw me off the road backwards when I change direction at serious speed on fast roads / motorways  :-X :D)

Right, I believe my options are OEM rubber ones OR polys  :-\

I've no VX trade club card anymore so what sort of prices i'm I looking at / best place to get these things from ?

Question to those who have had both on there omega's ............. what's the difference in feel / noise ect ?

Also, with this new job, my backs been aching like foook after a weeks work so may need a hand doing them if any of you kind gentlemen around these parts are available ??

TIA   :)

The difference between the two is improved feel and feels more taught with the poly bushes with no sacrifice to comfort and they last forever  :y

Unfortunately I`m tied up for the next few months with other work so getting over will be difficult but if you struggle give me a shout and see if I can spare a Saturday morning to help out  ;)

Given that the exchange rate is in the toilet and the alternative is importing them from Oz... what do you think? ;D

At that price, the spacers might be worth a punt too... weren't available through Monkfish.

They were around £110-125 delivered from Monkfish, so actually £150 is pretty good delivered from the States ;)

Real question is are they worth 5 or 6 times as a rubber set  :-\

Oh well, not had a wage packet since the 7th July.
This current job I started 3 weeks ago pays monthly (on the 7th) and I'm not sure what i'll get for last month yet due to the tax man maybe thinking i've got 2 jobs and raping my arse  so i'll have to wait until then before I make a decision  :(

Having driven a Polly'd 3.2 saloon, personally I'd say no. The Omega for me was always about being a comfortable motorway cruiser, it was not about chucking it hard around into country lanes at speed. If you want that, the Omega is the wrong choice.
