I reckon we're gonna have to talk to him. No military option without him turning South Korea into a wasteland. He'll probably want no more than an assurance that his country will be left in peace.....and $5,000,000,000.......and S Korea........and, maybe, a chicken fried rice.

We should send Comrade Corbyn round for a cuppa and a chat, so he can explain to Fatty Kim that it's all about the many, not the few.  :)

Maybe he'd do us a favour and get rid of Corbyn..  :-X

Despite international sanctions the North Koreans are managing to get the bits and pieces they need to build their bombs and missiles.  ::)

Unless they can build it all domestically? but i find that hard to believe to be honest.  :-\

Apparently the Chinese are having "stern discussions" with him/his ministers.I'm not sure whether he's pushing his luck to the max to see how far he can go before stopping or whether he's trying to goad Trump into pulling the trigger first so he can claim the Americans are the aggressors.

I think the russians/ chinese are funding them but not helping them to advance, sort of heres some money work it out yourself

Was it not in the news before that the chinese would put their foot down if the northerners got out of hand?

On the BBC News, they showed oil still being pumped across the border from China to NK, with other goods traveling in lorries uninterrupted. No reason to doubt the BBC images, and it would explain the continuing ability of NK to carry on regardless.

What a surprise-not!! ::) ::) ::)

It is time China intervened.

I dont have a good feeling about how this is going to end.

On a lighter note, i wonder if our active Trident sub is near the Korean peninsular and if so what orders it has!

The 11 miles of Russian border is busy and to supplement that on May 9th they started a ferry service between Vladivostok and Rajin with much speculation as to its purpose. ::) ::) ::)

https://narativ.org/2017/08/15/ferry-service/

It is in China's and Russia's interests to support DPRK getting ICBMs and several European countries actively exporting there and this may include dual use technologies. I don't agree with Trump on much but on this he is correct. Trade with DPRK or US? China and Russia are just paying lip service to the problem by saying talk to reduce tensions but if Trump follows through it will certainly concentrate China's thoughts and minds. Do we supply a few goats and gallons of oil to DPRK or $600bn+ of goods to the US? ??? ??? ???
