For just broadband? Is it fibre? Either way yes that's steep....

£15/m here for broadband, including line rental: http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/broadband-unlimited?OSPV=wk10-tlkupslb&s_tnt=91023:1:0

As staff I get free everything, although I used to pay extra for Fibre. I don't any more, as I personally find 11mb fine.

I set a movie in Sky planner to download, within 30 seconds it's got enough to watch. I can then watch the entire movie, also for xbox games it's also fine.

Unless you have a packed out family and need huge capacity, I think it's fine for standard use.

I think 11Mb is borderline for online gaming though I use the pc for that plus patches can be up to 10Gb on new games though Sky are regarded the best quality for gaming with less packet losses and throttling at peak times.

I`m with Virgin at the moment and I had to but a decent router to sort out my buffer bloat that VM is plagued with but as they are now putting it up by another £3 pm then I may look at switching to Sky.

Almost the same here, no line since I`ve been here since 1999 but I think sometimes they will offer to put a line in as part of the deal, it something I will be looking at in the next month.

Vodafone are offering a good deal at the moment but as they are relatively new I have no idea what their broadband is like or what their broadband customer service is like.

If it's anything like the mobile customer services (certainly PAYG) then they don't understand what it is >:( ::)

BT have a USO, so if you want a BT line, they HAVE to provide one.  The USO, I believe, only covers voice though...   ...BT & Openreach responded positively to OFCOM's request for USO on internet, but as nobody else did, OFCOM weren't really interested.

Yup, last week trying to negotiate a better deal with more data, the clown on the other end of the phone suggested I put a bigger micro sd card in my phone  ::)

They didn`t score too well on the follow up text messages afterwards  ;D
