Cubby box in dash
« on: 10 September 2017, 17:52:10 »

Hi everyone

Has anybody else had experience of the small cubby hole gloves box on the right hand side of the dash not staying closed?

Mine has developed this annoying habit of sometimes dropping open when you hit a bump or undulating road surfaces and landing on my knee.

Looking closely, it is like the right hand side of the lid is not latching, however it looks like the  clips simply hook over the edges of the lid and are held by friction?

I vaguely recall replacing one in the dim and distant past. Not even sure if it was one of my cars or somebody elses. But it was due to that reason.

So replacement is the cure.

Fair enough, anybody got one for an mfl in black?
