I don,t think there is hardly a place in the world that this guy hasn,t ridden. I think i do ok when i do 30 miles in a day.

I have been following him on his journey. Fantastic achievement.

I have been looking more and more at this ultra cycling malarkey and it really appeals. I might do a solo effort from Lyon to London next year to see how it goes.

Awesome.  It takes more than just physical toughness to do something like that which is what appeals to me.  I would be doing it as per the ultra-cycling rules, so self-supported and carrying all the kit you need doing about 14-16 hours a day in the saddle (the best do about 20 hours a day! )  The big question for me is whether to go through Paris or up through Riems (Champagne country )
