...though, granted, after over 20yrs, the switch is becoming intermittent on the garage vac.
I must also be lucky too, our DC01 is still going strong and not faultered once, we now have a new V6 Ball thingy. The only thing that is annoying about it, is it keeps falling over for some reason....?
Some of them may be reliable, but they aren't much use for actually sucking up dirt of the floor. Get yourselves a Sebo. You will be amazed at the difference.
Nope, not had that either, sucks pretty well on all but the cordless - even on full power, its at best adequate with the crevice tool. Pretty good with floor tools on, to the point of day to day vac'ing, its all she uses. Mains ones come out when there is more to do, as the cordless does have a hopelessly small collection container
