Nice B and B or hotel, for Thorpe Park?
« on: 09 October 2017, 19:45:21 »

Yet again I wish to consult the OOF tourist board... MrsGK and I want to go to Thorpe Park before the year is out... Anywhere nice and under £100/ night, preferably a bit romantic like? Happy to drive an hour or so to get to and from...

Not particularly romantic, but the Travelodge in Teddington is ok, Teddington is on the river with very good pubs and places to eat. The hotel ? Well, it's a Travelodge but with a free car park.

This is very nice - http://www.foxhills.co.uk/ - but depending on date might be a bit over your budget.

Have noted all these chaps - for future reference, somehow we've decided to go to Wales this time instead. I do hope MrsGK isn't intending on driving to Thorpe Park form there, anyway... ::)

You're screwed, it's inside M25, and nice things don't exist there.

I can already feel the black bogies starting, and I only crossed the m25 a few mins ago!
