Car insurance due.
« on: 01 November 2017, 18:39:21 »

Normally I shop around.

Original quote came in at £398, but when they agreed to drop the figure to £306 I thought the cost reasonable.

Admiral for the 2nd year running. My guess is next year they will 'load' the policy and hope I don't notice.........but I will. :D

Saga are the same as any other insurance company. Given half a chance, they’ll take the piss.

I don't believe I called you or anyone a senior citizen, just asked if they give good deals.  ;)

After all I may be in need of senior citizen services one day..... if I get that far!  ;D

I change every year, if necessary. I’ve never got a good deal from a comparison site, though. The only thing thing they’re good for is spam for a month after you use them.

That’s not bad. I’m with Admiral as well, going from the Mondeo to the XC60 only cost another £24 a year. Still both slightly more than yours, but it’s difficult to compare given all the variables around with insurance.

I,m a bit stuck on shopping around as the Desmond is Cat C and some companies don,t like them. Though when Saga raised the premium this year i phoned them up and they put it down again. Wonder if  i,ll get away with it again? :D

Which reminds me. I must get my screen replaced courtesy of Saga (no excess with them) before my insurance runs out next month.

Had the renewal for the Zaf come in at £407. My company always say to use the comparison sites if not happy. did that and the meercats came up with £207 with esure and the fat singer was £197 with RIAS after specing it to my existing. My company then came back with £196, so back with them
