I brought my lady over to a backgammon tournament in Stockport. Got here at 11 after driving over the peak district in the blizzard,  thought we'd only be 2-3 hours. He won his first game and is playing his second. The fella who runs it said,  if he does well, we could be here till 9 o'clock.
Think I'll have a kip in the car

No snow at home and none here.  Just the bit in the middle. Quite heavy but it didn't stop the loons from wanting past.

The things we do for our kids eh. I had many similar experiences when they were younger.
They are the things that turn out to be happy memories though with the passage of time.
