Dirty Damien resigns

So......Damien Green was tossing it off in front of a House of Commons computer then. Nothing wrong with that, we’ve all done it.  ;D

I'm sure something is going on as Ministers seem to be dropping like flies these days!  ::)

We'll have Jacob Rees-Mogg, John Redwood, Peter Bone and Bill Cash running the show before long!  :)

Conspiracy anyone?  ;D

We can but dream.  :)
I think the conduct of the Police in this matter has been beneath contempt, and I hope those involved end up in the dock. I wont hold my breath though.  >:(

1. Bring down the government.
2. Install Corbyn into power.
3. Weasel out of Art. 50.
4. Submit to EU rule
5. Give all possessions and income to the EU state, the EU will provide your living essentials and there will be 100% employement

Nirvana will have been reached*

I don't think he should have resigned.

He watched porn on his computer.......so what.

It wasn't kiddie porn,  animal porn, or snuff porn, so who cares.

The police are behind this and have acted badly.

That's generally a dismissible offence in most contracts of employment if you're doing it on work time on a work computer.. I know I'd get fired if I was caught doing that.

That said, he wasn't "caught" (by HM Govt. IT) but ratted out by the Police.. still, if someone had a quiet word in HRs ear I'm still sure I'd get fired.

I would think that 'watching' porn on the work computer is acceptable when work is slack.......I would think that 'wanking' over porn when when the girls in the office are present is a sackable offence.

Not in the modern society way of doing things.  Many companies have all sorts of policies on what constitues acceptable use on work PCs, and many larger companies have technology that blocks it.

Certainly within my company, its a disciplinary offence to view such material via work provided equipment and networks.

The copper involved is seriously out of order on this, however once Pandoras box is opened there's no going back.

In my view, he should - be sacked/resign/whatever at least for sheer stupidity

1) For doing it

2) For not clearing his browsing history !

My understand (could be wrong) is that most of the "images" were thumbnails.

EDIT
PS: I'd also bet that this has resulted in a huge number of MPs/Public Servants etc of all political persuations trying to frantically cover their tracks.

Same here - in fact, if you click on a link that is deemed unsavoury (I swear it wasn't porn!) you get a nice warning page instead of where you intended to go, and that gets logged and reported on..
