Driver side is legal minimum... won't hurt to have both working before going though ;) nothing fancy, standard 21w, 382 iirc :y

Mercedes think we're all too stupid to not be able to tell the difference between a pair of rear fog lights & a pair of brake lights. Though there are two working lights on the back of my Merc, only one is used as a rear fog light .... the pair of them are also used as 'back-up' (auxiliary/stand-by) lights in the event of a side or brake light failure. STAR (Merc's TechII) can tell the car to use the left hand lamp if you're going to Europe.

Saloons and estates both only have1 fog light each side... Any more is a wiring fault, any less is most likely a bulb...

But, as said drivers side is the legal minimum :y

That's still one too many in my opinion. They're so rarely needed, but ineptly used we would be better off without them. The same applies to front fog lights.

Agreed. America manages very well without them
