Audi a4 estate radio
« on: 10 January 2018, 21:43:20 »

My audi radio keeps dropping its fm radio station. It wont even hold radio 2. The aerial is in the rear window. I have cleaned window but didnt help.
Would it be a idea to replace the aerial for one on the roof. I have read it has a seperate amp for the aerial would it help to change this. Any ideas please.

Being an Estate and having a Combined Rear Window Aerial I would be checking for damage on the Coax Feeder between the Body and the rear Tailgate, probably find its hidden within Rubber Hose Grommet or something.

The very early Omega Estates used this method for the Aerial and this was a common problem before they changed to the roof mount type.
